All you need to bring on these trips is sun protection and any food or drinks you might want. Captain Johnny will provide all rods, reels, tackle and bait. He also offers a 10% discount for all military and first responders with valid ID. A veteran himself, Johnny truly appreciates their sacrifices and does anything he can to honor their service.
A true local guide, Captain Johnny grew up hunting and fishing in south Alabama. He joined the Marines in 2004 and did three combat deployments before getting injured by an IED in 2011. This led him to start a charter company with his best friend, and now Captain Johnny is branching out on his own to bring you the best fishing trips he can!...Read More

Capt. Johnny is the man. We walked out on the dock at Zeke’s and met Capt. Johnny. From start to finish we enjoyed every second. Not all that went out that morning pulled in near as many fish, if any, but Johnny knew where to go. We learned a lot too. He ...Read More put us on some king mackerel that was a fight to pull in. We also caught some spanish mackerel, blue fish, snapper, and remora. Johnny fielded all our questions and taught us a lot about fishing in the Gulf. When we got back to the dock Johnny cleaned what we kept and gave us a great recommendation on where to get it cooked. (The Shrimp Basket in the parking lot of Zeke’s, try getting it Cajun style!) Johnny is knowledgeable, safe, proficient, and personable. We will definitely
We had a great time on this trip! We got on the boat an hour late due to Captain Johnny trying to catch fresh bait, but boy he more than made up for it when we got out on the water. He asked my son what kind of fish he ...Read More wanted to catch, and we spent a little time in different areas catching different fish. Johnny was very knowledgeable on what bait use and areas to go for the different fish. My son has been on a few fishing trips in the area, and this was by far the best he said! We will definitely go with Captain Johnny next time we visit Gulf Shores and want to fish!
We had an awesome time…I have fished charters all over the Gulf, Mexico and Central America and when you find a Captain that was as awesome as the Gentleman that we fished with today no worries for the next time because you know who we are calling. .Would recommend Captain ...Read More Johnny to anyone.
While the weather wasn’t the best, Johnny knew just where to take us. After we caught our share of Red’s, we moved on to Mackerel’s and hammered them. Johnny was a class AAA guide. My son and I could not have had a better time. Johnny ...Read More had rigs set up for whatever came our way. I’ve been on a number of guided trips and none have come close to the experience Johnny provided us.
