"76 degree mornings with cloudy skies have been typical!!! Terrific morning weather to get outside and jumpstart your fishing bug!! Our 8-12 time slot has been fair for Calaveras Lake Redfish. Bites have been more consistent with this full moon. Blue Catfish in the 20-25 lb. range have been consistent most mornings. And the Redfish have provided plenty of action across the board. Small schools of Redfish have been patrolling shorelines on both sides of Calaveraas Lake, giving the prepared angler plenty of excitement as they pass by. Multiple hookups during this time have been common place. Live bait, spoons, and shrimp have all been producing on the North and South shorelines." -Captain Travis
