"The cold front is here, the water temperature should drop and the fish should lite up. I only did one trip this week I fish Lake Sabine on the Louisiana side of the lake, lots of birds action feeding on live shrimp from trout feeding on shrimp. We caught lots of redfish, specks, sheep heads, black drums and black bass in the back water of Lake Sabine. I am taking off to do some deer hunting for the next week. Good luck fishing and always stay safe."-Captain Mike

"Sabine Lake redfishing is as good as it gets right now. Lots of 4-9 pound fish on spinning gear in the mornings before it gets too hot. Half day special $450 fly or spin on the skiff 1-2 people through July."-Captain John
