The winter cold hasn't stopped out Our Damn Good Guides at Captain Experiences from staying on the fish. The Red Snapper bite is heating up on the nearshore reefs and bottom structure in the Gulf of Mexico, while the Wahoo and Black Tuna bite is in full swing further offshore. The inshore bite is hot as ever with plenty of trophy Speckled Trout, bull Redfish, Snook, and even a Tarpon here and there. Check out our Big Ol' Mess Fishing Report for the latest updates on our Galveston fishing charters, the best guides in Key West, what's biting in Hawaii, and everywhere in between! Inshore, offshore, river and lake - it's all right here in the Big Ol' Mess.

"With the extreme low tides this weekend brought, finding deep holes in the marsh provided some lights-out action. We were forced to get a little creative, fishing out of the airboat, but it paid off with big dividends. This 40-fish haul was boxed in about 3 hours on the cast portion of this cast n blast trip. The cooler weather and low tides should continue to produce in this pattern thru February. With duck season wrapping up January 31, we will be redirecting all of our attention back to the slippery critters. If you've got a case of the cabin fever, give us a call and let's get you bent!" -Captain Collin
