Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! As we put a bow on 2020 and look ahead to '21, we have more than a lot to be thankful for.
But first and foremost, our thoughts and prayers go out to Nancy McPartland and the family of Captain Jack McPartland of Aransas Pass, TX. Captain Jack passed earlier this month from a heart attack- he was a pillar of the Texas Coastal Bend fishing community. Jack was looked up to by guides and adored by his clients and those who worked with him, including our team at Captain Experiences.
We've shared some of our favorite 100% Verified Reviews from the year below, beginning with Captain Jack's most recent trip. We'll honor Captain Jack by sponsoring a fishing tournament in his honor for the American Heart Association.
But first, we'd like to thank you for supporting Captain Experiences through this crazy year with 10% off any and all future fishing trips with our Damn Good Gift Card. The DGGC is unbelievably simple:

"We started off with a nice one within the first hour. Jack knew EXACTLY where to go. When it slowed down a little, he jumped right over to another spot and we slammed ‘em again! My two teen daughters and I had an awesome time and look forward to another trip!" − CJM on Captain Jack of Aransas Pass, TX
"We had a fantastic half day trip with Captain Eric. Both guys were Fantastic... All my guys had such a great time and my teenagers were taught so much. We will definitely plan another trip." − Derek on Captain Eric of Galveston, TX
"We were doubled or tripled up on snook almost all morning. Captain Experiences made it very easy to pick out a guide and trip that worked for us, and captain Ben gave us a fantastic day of fishing. Overall a great experience. Photo says it all" − Sam on Captain Ben of Islamorada, FL
"My husband wanted to go fishing but I get bored in 20 minutes, so I was a bit skeptical of the whole thing. Plus, I had this image in my head of the Perfect Storm or Deadliest Catch. Totally, not like that! Ladies, if your man wants to take you along, GO! I can promise you won't be bored. We caught flounder, sheepshead, stingray, mud eel, sand trout, a few shrimp stealing crabs and black drum. I have flounder in my freezer waiting to be cooked. They cleaned and filleted it for me... I highly recommend this adventure!." − Debra on Captain JoJo of Galveston, TX
"Captain Chris was a hoot. Wife and kids had a blast catching Speckled Trout. Would go again in a heartbeat!" − Joe on Captain Chris of Corpus Christi, TX
"Chris and Kit were both amazing. When the first fishing spot was loaded with anglers, he took us to his secret location off the beaten path. It was secluded and jumping with fish. It was my first time fly fishing, but after he taught us the cast, we were reeling in trout in no time. I'd book him again if I was fishing in the area." − Preston on Chris of Broken Bow, OK
"If you're looking for an expert, down-to-earth, natural-born, get-you-on-the-fish, courteous, and professional fishing guide, Larry Bell is your guy! He is the most knowledgeable and fun guide to hit the waters with in the Corpus Christi & Aransas Pass area. You'll be on redfish, speckled trout, flounder, and whatnot like you wouldn't believe. He taught us how to hook fish using artificial lures so well that we both had walk-off red catches. Both were within the slot. We limited on reds and finished early! We've had many guides in tons of fishing spots around the globe. Larry is #1 by a longshot. You will thank us for this recommendation. We vouch for Larry Bell. Get a full day trip and expect the trip of a lifetime. Check out our pics bending the rods. It was a great day on the water. Magnificent guide/par excellence. Peace!" − XK & Tamara on Captain Larry of Aransas Pass, TX
"We had a great start to the day with some early action and a nice Redfish in the boat (see photo) but then the weather and conditions turned against us. Despite that Capt Josh worked really hard to find fish, was great company and we had a super day. I would definitely recommend Capt Josh and will fish with him when I come back to the Keys." − Simon on Captain Josh of Islamorada, FL
"What an amazing experience to have joined Captain Lee and Captain Experiences 130 miles out of the coast of Galveston. 36 hours of nothing but fishing, wahoo, Yellowfin Tuna and Blackfin Tuna, Triggerfish, Sharks and more! We are coming back for sure!" − Enrique on Captain Lee of Galveston, TX
