Join Captain Juan Mata chasing Sailfish, Marlin, and Roosterfish on these unforgettable Costa Rica fishing charters.
Head out up to 40 miles offshore to chase tropical, deep sea species like Mahi Mahi, Sailfish, Marlin, and Yellowfin Tuna. For your nearshore trips, you’ll be casting to Roosterfish, Red Snapper, Pacific Barracuda and multiple other exotic species.
Fishing light and heavy tackle, Captain Juan provides top-quality Shimano and Penn rods and reels, as well as live bait, lures, and other tackle. Captain Juan even provides snorkeling equipment if you’d like to explore the Pacific up close.
Reach out at [email protected] and we'll take care of planning your custom itinerary. If a full-day offshore is all you need, pair it with a half-day nearshore trip for Roosterfish followed by an afternoon BBQ on the beach. Either way, sandwiches, cold water, juice, and beer will be available on board as well.
Captain Juan & Co. fish hard out of their Topaz Rampage which is powered by twin 330 HP Detroit engines. The vessel is fully stocked with GPS, fishfinders, a flybridge, a fighting chair, outriggers, tuna tubes, and a multimedia system. There is also a restroom and full bed on board for your group's comfort.
