Premier Quepos Billfishing

My trip was with my 2 parents (age 66 and 67), 3 boys (ages 5, 12, and 16), and me and my wife. The first thing I loved about this boat was the completely enclosed cabin with AC. My parents and 5 yr old enjoyed getting out of the sun ...Read More and relaxing in the AC throughout the long day. Secondly, there was a seating area up top that was helpful for those susceptible to getting sea-sick. My wife started to get a little nauseated, and then it quickly subsided with fresh air “up-top” that also provided a good breeze. The crew was fantastic. Captain Eric was constantly looking for fish. He was never distracted and always looking for that next bite. For the 7 hours we were actively trying to catch fish, he was only concentrating on getting a fish on the line. We ended up catching 11 total during our trip: 1 marlin, 2 sailfish, 3 tuna, and 5 Mahi. Captain Eric’s quick maneuvering helped get the trophy fish on the side of the boat and allowed for unforgettable memories with my parents and kids. The deck hands were also very friendly, spoke good English, and was just as excited to catch the fish as we were. They were great with my younger boys and helped make sure they didn’t lose that sailfish! This is the 6th deep sea fishing trip I’ve been on (Previous trips include Destin FL, Pensacola FL, Playa del Carmen Mexico, St Martin, Savannah GA). I can honestly say this is the best overall experience I have ever had deep sea fishing. I can’t recommend Captain Eric's Trips enough. If you have a family with younger children and/or older adults, I highly recommend you book with Captain.

March 09, 2022 we chartered the 41 Luhrs sport fishing yacht with Captain Eric at the helm. After a short run to the fishing grounds we had our first billfish, only minutes after putting our lines in the water. After 3 hours of trolling we were 5/5! 1 Black Marlin, ...Read More 4 Sailfish. We then decided to find some tuna and after a 1 run to the north we found a large school of spinner dolphins (1000+) chasing bait and we dropped in our lines again and ended with 5 out of 7 Yellow Fin Tuna. The fishing as great, the crew(Cheetah & Dennis) were awesome. The boat was clean, the lunch was delicious, and the value was excellent. I highly recommend this boat for a fun day of Blue Water fishing. Pura Vida

We had a group of 8 on March 22, 2021. We caught multiple Tuna and Sailfish. The crew cut up the tuna and made sashimi! Excellent fishing experience.
