The fishing is pretty much shutdown this week due to small craft advisories. The last couple weeks have been good, but lots of spooky fish as well. Still catchable, just required longer casts to get them to eat before seeing the skiff.

The weather is a big factor the last few weeks, to windy, to much run off from rain. Now the tornado and high winds slow fishing down. I did go one day for redfish in the back water using live bait. Best bet is to fish the North Galveston Jetties...

Best bet is to fish the North Galveston Jetties fishing by the boat cut using live bait. This time of the year is always slow. But it is time to book for Spring Break.
