On the night of your trip, you'll be fishing from Captain Janot's 21' Carolina Skiff, equipped with a bow light and a shallow draft enabling you to search for target fish far off the beaten path. It comfortably fits 4 passengers plus the captain. Its most notable feature is the 10 foot custom scouting tower, which gives Captain Janot the advantage to scout fish from dock to dock at night. This fishing machine comes rigged with a 9" Garmin navigation system, 24V Minnkota iPilot trolling motor, and 2 live wells. And there is dry space to store your personal belongings and a cooler on board to keep your food and drinks cold for the night!
Captain Janot recommends you bring any food and drink (especially water!) you would like to enjoy on your fishing adventure. Bring what you need to be comfortable outdoors for the length of your trip. Basic clothing to consider bringing based upon season and weather includes a rain jacket, windbreaker, sweatshirt, etc. Captain Janot will also be in touch with you the day before your charter to make sure you are properly prepared for your saltwater adventure!

Captain took us out on Friday. Weather was iffy with winds and chop forecast to make it not the best day and Captain offered to take us Saturday versus Friday, but Friday was the only day we could go because of friend returning to Virginia Saturday morning. We ...Read More attempted a little offshore but too rough, so he took us to a more protected area and put us on the fish. When action go slow, he would move us to another spot. Very helpful on teaching us proper technique, used different bait and equipment was first class. We limited out on redfish and caught many redfish just under the legal limit which were released. Caught variety of fish and for the weather conditions, it was a good day of fishing under any conditions. Cleaned our fish when we got to the dock and returned home after a good day of fishing. Would definitely recommend him and would go fishing with him again. He worked hard for us from start to finish.
