8-14 Hour Offshore - 48' Hatteras

Captain Curt fishes aboard a 48 foot Hatteras that boasts a very spacious air-conditioned salon with 2 staterooms below, giving enough room to sleep 6 people. The salon has more than enough seating for all 6 anglers Also located in the salon- a flat-screen tv, DVD player, and a Bose sound system that will hook up to any phone or music player. The galley is conveniently located below and is equipped with a full-size refrigerator, microwave, and freshwater sink. Just past the galley to the starboard side is the very clean restroom accompanied with a full hot water shower for those extended trips.

After you get settled in, and Captain Curt cranks up the engines, you will motor out a couple of miles offshore to do some trolling, deep-sea dropping, and fish catching! For the full day trips you can expect to hook into the likes of Wahoo, Spanish and King Mackerel, Snapper, Sharks, Mahi Mahi, Bonita, Grouper and Amberjack just to name a few, and there are plenty more species the Gulf can offer up! You are welcome to get as involved as you would like with your adventure as well, whether you'd rather lounge until the reel starts screaming or if you want your hand on the rod the whole time, Captain Curt can make it happen!

Beyond superior service and luxurious amenities, Captain Curt also provides the best rods, reels, tackle, bait, and fishing licenses you could possibly need for a successful day out on the water. Thus, all you need to bring are your favorite lunch, snack, and drink, your sun protection, maybe a towel, and your camera! Otherwise, Captain Curt will take care of the rest to make the most of your Destin saltwater adventure!

Curt planned on following his father's footsteps to pursue real estate development, until the market crash in 2007 forced him to reevaluate his options. This drove him to instead pursue his passion of fishing, where he worked his way up from the bottom. He started out freelancing on private boats until he earned enough to buy his own boat. He then built up enough clientele from his well-guided trips to buy a second and third boat! Curt now had everything he needed to run a streamlined charter company.

Captain Curt specializes in all types of saltwater fishing trips targeting Snapper, Grouper, Wahoo, Tuna, Amberjack and more. He runs trips anywhere from 4 hours to overnight in duration, and will tailor every aspect to meet your needs!

In 2013, Captain Curt's vessel was voted Best Charter Boat by the readers of Destin Magazine, and was the victor of the Cobia World Championships held at Harbor Docks. It's safe to say Captain Curt knows what he's doing!
