About Your Guide

Captain Alex started helping out aboard the Silver King when he was 12 years old. He took a hiatus from the Silver King to mate for another charter for 6 years before returning. He got his Captain's License at the age of 18 and started running trips abroad the Silver King. 10 years later, he has purchased the Silver King for himself and now runs his own operation! Needless to say, he knows how to get you hooked into the Fish around Destin!

We vet our guides to make sure they are the best of the best. We want guides who not only catch fish, but show you a great time on the water, keep you safe, and give you a memorable experience with your group.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a QR code (like a mobile boarding pass). Just show your guide your QR code on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to go fishing. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!

In the case of inclement weather, our guides will make the call and we'll work with you to reschedule your trip or issue a full refund. Your safety is our top concern.

Once you book the trip, we will connect you directly with the guide to go over any additional details. In the meantime, our location specialists are always available to answer your questions via email, text, chat, or call!
