Michael is a fantastic guide, he was very knowledgeable about all things outdoors and specifically taught us about the Florida ecosystem. This iguana trip was very fun and would absolutely recommend to anyone. Michael also has a ton of other adventures in the South Florida area!

Had a fun and great time

Michael was superb! He understands customer service and his customers, as well as knowing where and when to find the fish. My son and I have already discussed another trip and agreed that we should go with Michael again.

Michael is the man! Not only did we catch giant peacocks and a tonic iguanas (and one invasive Muscovy duck), but he gave us a wealth of insight into the environmental issues currently facing south Florida. Honorable mention goes to his retriever Scout.

They are the perfect hosts and know the perfect honey holes. 22 iguanas and our party of four each caught a 22 inch peacock bass.

Eight hours was not enough time for this adventure.

My trip with Captain Mike and Elena was all I had hoped for. Their communication leading up to the hunt was excellent and so very prompt ! I almost cancelled. My Best friend's flight from Ohio was cancelled the night before the hunt and I didn't want to go alone. ...Read More Elena said we would have great fun anyway..so I went and so very glad I did. Mike's knowledge about the invasive Iguana was so helpful during the hunt...and Having "Scout" the Iguana dog with us was the icing on the cake. He was amazing. I was comfortable with Captain Mike and Elena from the moment I arrived until we called it a day. I will definetely book with them again in the near future. My husband and I had a blast with Captain Mike. We did the Peacock bass fishing/Iguana hunting combo, unfortunately the recent weather had affected the peacock bass so we were able to fish for other types of fish. (FYI for airport info- it just needs to be in a small carry on sized cooler and meat and icepacks need to be frozen solid, we made it through just fine, no need to check a bag.) Mike was very knowledgeable and entertaining; his dog was a great addition to the entire experience has he would retrieve the iguanas on shore once we shot them. Mike was an awesome guide, and this experience was well worth it! We would go back to visit captain Mike for another Florida adventure in a heart beat!

Captain Michael exceeded our expectations. We had some very cold water temps which affected the peacock bass fishing but Mike still got us on other species's of fish. My boys really liked gigging the armoured catfish and they were plentiful. Now off to my favorite part, hunting iguana! ...Read More We had plenty of shooting opportunities and ended up with 18 iguana in the boat plus a few we did not recover. We were also able to noose a very large iguana! A big surprise was Mike had a dog that would retrieve the iguana after the shot which made it exciting to see the dog work. We would definitely book with Michael again. This trip was kid friendly with my 11 and 13 year old son's.

Capt. Mike was very accommodating and knowledgeable, can't go wrong!
