The Marquesas Keys are legendary as a world class light tackle fishing destination. Located approximately 30 miles west of Key West just beyond the Boca Grande Channel, the Marquesas Keys are 36 miles east of the Dry Tortugas, which is the farthest key traveling west, in the entire Florida Keys chain....Read More
This atoll is hard to get to and gets a lot less fishing pressure. The sublime nature is a fantastic habitat for all types of inshore and flats dwelling species like Tarpon in the summer months, Baracuda in the winter months, Grouper in Bonefish and Permit year round! There are tons of other species as well, and you could easily see Jacks, SSharks, Snapper, Cobia, Ladyfish, Bluefish, and Redfish.
Given the remoteness of the island, weather can play a huge roll in whether or not it is safe to make the voyage. So watch the radar, and if seas do not permit the journey, Captain Chandler will be more than happy to chase the fish with you inshore around Key West!
The Captain will bring everything you need for this trip from gear to lunch! So all you need to bring with you is a tip for your guide and Captain Chandler will take great care of you.
Captain Chandler has been in the outdoor industry since he was 17. By the age of 18, he became an international guide. He has guided in 3 different countries, and between 3 different continents. He's got experience guiding in the Florida Keys and coastal waters of South Carolina. He and his close friend own a Charter and have two boats in two of America’s greatest cities, one in Charleston, SC, and one in Key West, FL

He went out of his way to get us on the fish and while our count wasn’t great… it was ...Read More not due to his tireless efforts of traversing the mangroves and shallows. We had our chances and that is all one can really ask. Our fond memories are many and I would recommend Captain Chandler to anyone who loves to fish and who loves adventure. Thank you Captain ! Five-stars! Toms from Texas
Nice enough guide. Obviously a good fisherman himself. We spent I’d say 75 percent of the time going between fishing places around the entire key. We were on a much smaller boat due to the other boat being in the shop so it was cramped. Maybe it was a bad ...Read More day to fish. I did catch 5 fish and that was fun. This may be how all the trips are, this was our first. Just certainly didn’t seem to be worth the $ for the boat trip. Cool guy though. Probably won’t do a offshore charter again since I have a feeling they all are like this. If you’re used to offshore fishing and know what to expect, I’m sure you would have enjoyed the trip.
