We caught red snapper (very large), king and Spanish mackerel, (large kings), ...Read More mind blowing Amberjack, Mingo snapper, giant Trigger fish, grouper, a weird soap fish (weird). I asked Captain Bryant if he could get me on a big Amberjack. He baited a rod with a large mingo and within 10 minutes I was in a battle. What seemed to be an hour later, I was holding a 35 pound reef donkey. I am still sore today. This would be a great day if this review ended, but it doesn’t. We hooked a very large barracuda. 5-6 feet in length. Roughly 35 pounds. It went on several long runs. Then to the shock of all of us, it jumped out of the water. The shocking part was it was out by at least 15 feet. No exaggerating. It cleared 15 feet. This one fish was worth the trip. However, Captain Bryant and his crew made this the best fishing trip in my life. (I am 55 and I have fished my whole life from coast to coast.) If you want to experience an amazing day on the water with wonderful people, do not pass this boat and captain up. I will never go out with another charter captain besides Bryant again. Captain Bryant, Martin, and Camryn, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. This was the hardest working crew I have ever been with. You made our trip to Florida one we will never forget. Captain Bryant is very professional in what he does for sure, he was patient in teaching how to fish, answer any questions we have, and even show me how to clean the fish since I wanted to clean a few by myself. He and his deck hand Logan worked so hard to make our day successful. We caught a lot more fish than we ever imagined. The largest fish we have ever caught was pulled into Bryant’s boat and the boys have not stopped talking about it This trip will always be remembered.
