About Your Guide

Captain Nick Halenkamp is a true Tampa local, born and raised in the area. He was taught how to fish by his mother and became enamored with the amazing Bass fishing Florida has to offer at a young age. Years later he discovered that saltwater fishing was his passion too and decided to expand his skills in that area. He's been fishing for the past 15 years and loves passing his vast knowledge of the local waters on to his customers. Capt. Nick takes pride in his customer service skills, knowing that it takes more than a good fishing spot to keep your customers happy – he works very hard to ensure that all of his guests have an amazing time on the water.

Captain Nick put us on fish immediately. Perfect boat for the bay and we got to fish several different areas. Nick is very accommodating and the whole day went off without a hitch. Definitely one of the most diverse days on the water I’ve ever had as far as species go. Seven different species and two different kinds of sharks. My wife and I would most certainly fish with Capt Nick again and will recommend anyone coming to the Tampa area to him. Tight lines!

Captain Nick was amazing! Especially with my boys. He helped them with everything they needed to catch a fish, and met all their crazy requests from seeing a shark to cutting out an eye ball of this fish he was fileting so they could hold it (boys!). Highly recommend. Great fishing and spectacular experience. So much action we ended up booking a 2nd trip!

Had a great half day. Nick worked his tail off to make sure we caught fish and were happy.
