Float your way into the water with Noah and get ready for an action-packed day of fishing in Blue Ridge! On this fly-fishing trip you'll be floating down the Toccoa River as you target Brown Trout, Cutthroat Trout, and Rainbow Trout....Read More
Designated the Fly Fishing Capital of Georgia, Blue Ridge has excellent rivers, creeks, and streams to cast your line into. The Toccoa River is one of the most popular, with characteristics that make it exceptional for catching big Trout.
On this half-day excursion, Noah will row you where you need to be in a maneuverable drift boat and show you the proper fishing techniques. Since you cover more water, this float trip offers the advantage of catching more trout than a wade fishing trip. More fish means a better chance at catching that trophy-sized trout!
Whether you're new to fly fishing or not, Noah is eager to help and known as a great teacher. He grew up fishing in Georgia and has been fly fishing all over the country, so expect to get some bites!
Noah will provide all the rods, reels, flies and tippet you need to get out on the river and catch some fish. All you need to bring is a valid Georgia Fishing License. Enjoy your day out on the river with Noah!
Captain Noah is as passionate about connecting with others as he is when it comes to fly fishing, and that's saying something! Born and raised in a small town in Georgia, there weren't many trout rivers nearby so Noah hit the road....Read More
From a very early age, Captain Noah's father's interest in the outdoors introduced Captain Noah to the Rocky Mountains. Very soon, Captain Noah introduced himself to fly fishing. From there, Captain Noah had his marching orders and fished from Georgia to Idaho and everywhere in between- if trout were there, Captain Noah was there.
Along his travels, Captain Noah stumbled upon Dubois Wyoming and stuck around for a few years, unable to escape this unbelievable trout fishery.
At the age of 17, Captain Noah began guiding on the Toccoa River back home in Georgia and neighboring streams in the Appalachian Mountains' foothills. Then one fortunate day, the opportunity to spend his days guiding in the Wind River Range presented itself and Captain Noah couldn't say no and packed up for Wyoming.
Captain Noah now splits time between guiding the Toccoa River region of North Georgia and guiding out west across a variety of world-class trout habitat!
