Just a stone's throw from Atlanta is the Chattahoochee National Forest and the truly wild waters of the Chattahoochee River. These waters are an incredibly productive trout, largemouth bass, and striped bass fishery that houses some true monsters. With many great spots including Buford Dam, Jones Bridge, Paces Mill, and Settles Bridge just a few miles from Atlanta, it’s amazing that this area is not more widely discussed.
