Is there anything that sounds better than waking up on the water in a beautiful Caribbean atoll with pristine bonefishing just feet away? We doubt it! This all-inclusive experience with Captain Chris can best be described as a wade fisherman's paradise. Los Roques is a bonefish hot-spot, and offers a variety of alternatives for anglers too. Other common available species at Los Roques include a variety of Snappers and hard fighting Jacks, Tarpon, Permit, Barracuda, Snook, Spanish Mackerel and also blue water species such as Wahoo, Tuna, Bonito, Marlin and Swordfish. Captain Chris and his crew are experts when it comes to these flats and will get you to the right spots every time. Los Roques is an extremely popular and exclusive destination that hosts world-class salt-water fly-fishing. It is characterized by its extremely clear and calm waters, magnificent coral beds, diverse and varied flats, miles of sandy beaches and hundreds of smaller mangrove cays, all with incredibly diverse environments and natural beauty. No cars are needed to traverse the sandy pathways to colorful lodges and private houses. It is very safe, clean and popular among foreign tourists and Venezuelans alike. This trip consists of 1 guide and 1 captain per boat. These 28' Pangas fiber-glass center console boats are specially designed to the environment of Los Roques fishery and seas and outfitted with canopies to protect anglers from the sun. A huge advantage over other destinations is that the captain drops off anglers with their guide on various flats and areas and meets them at the other end, eliminating not only any backtracking across the flat to maximize fishing time but also putting anglers in the right spot to take advantage of wind, current, tides and sunlight. For a typical 6-day package, guests will fly from Caracas to Los Roques in the morning and get to fish that day. Next is 4 full days of fishing, where anglers will be on the flats from 8am to 4pm with a quick break for lunch. After this, anglers will get a final full day of fishing before flying back to Caracas at 5pm. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided every day. The breakfast menu includes freshly squeezed juices, yogurts and cereals, avocado and poached eggs. Packed lunches are provided while fishing, with snacks given out upon returning from the flats. The evening meals consist of 4 courses: a ceviche or sashimi starter, antipasto, fish of the day and finally dessert. On this trip you will have two choices for lodging: Villa Caracol enjoys an extremely quiet and ventilated position. It is characterized by large open spaces arranged on various levels, mainly of white color, natural tones and with furniture in teak. It has six spacious and comfortable rooms, one of which with four beds, two with three beds and two with double beds, furnished with taste and attention to details, come with a private washroom with hot water, a/c, mini-bar, and ceiling fan. Villa Caracol is ideal for clients looking for privacy, relax and refinement. Posada Caracol is situated on the main waterfront and is perfectly positioned to enjoy the sunset, the daily going on along the waterfront, and of course the sea view. The original structure has been sympathetically re-designed, providing four guest bedrooms, furnished with taste, embellished by selected particulars. All rooms have air conditioning and are tastefully decorated including personal bluetooth speakers in each bedroom. Both are ideal not only for anglers but also for couples and families that want to relax and enjoy one of the most beautiful Archipelagos in the world. Book your dream trip today with Captain Chris!
