The trip will begin with a short boat ride to the shallow waters near Golden Meadow, where the Redfish are known to congregate. Captain Dalton has put in his days on the water, and will put his expert knowledge to work to get you hooked up on some champion fish!
Once you're out on the water aboard Captain Dalton's 25' Haynie bay boat, you'll have the chance to use a variety of techniques to catch the redfish, including sight casting with lures or bait, or using popping corks to create a commotion that will attract the fish. The shallow water makes for an exciting and challenging fishing experience, as the fish can be easily spooked and will require quick reflexes and a deft touch to catch.
After a day of fishing, guests will return to the boat with their catch, which can be cleaned and filleted by the captain. Go home with a trophy, a full cooler, and a camera full of lifelong memories!

Growing up in Cut Off, Louisiana, Captain Dalton grew up on the water, fishing since he could hold a rod. As he got older, he started working offshore on supply boats. The oilfield taught him how to be a merchant mariner, and he got his USCG license in 2014.
