Inshore fish like redfish, trout, and black drum eat for a living. They know what a crab looks like, they know how a shrimp moves when it's frightened, and they don't want to waste energy looking for food when they can find it almost everywhere amongst the tidal water....Read More
This is the game when trying to hook into these fish on the fly, and what makes fly fishing so much fun! Taking an inanimate fly, breathing life into it in front of a big redfish's nose, and giving him no choice but to inhale the tiny morsel. There is nothing like it!
So get ready to stalk the intricate marshlands around New Orleans, Lake Pontchartrain, Slidell, and Delacroix looking for redfish trout and black drum feeding and cruising happily in a prime, sheltered, shallow water oasis and feed them flies from the bow of Captain Jeremy's 25' Haynie.
After a quick 10 minute ride from the boat launch, you will be tucked away amongst some of the most beautiful wetland country in America. These beautiful coastal tidal waters are home to a plethora of happy fish that you can see rummaging around in the mud with their backs out of the water, or slowly cruising like a dark torpedo! Remember to keep your cool, listen to your experienced Captain, and get ready for a rush of excitement unlike any other!
Captain Jeremy will provide all the fishing gear you'll need for this adventure, but he does require that you bring Polarized Sunglasses. With hooks flying around they provide eye protection and also allow you to see clearer in the surrounding waters. Please feel free to bring any other snacks and drinks that you'd like to enjoy, and Captain Jeremy will ensure you have an awesome experience fishing this Sportsman's Paradise.
Captain Jeremy is a Marine Corp Veteran with over 17 years of true saltwater angling experience. A childhood on Florida’s East Coast laid a foundation for the love and passion for sight fishing for Redfish that has grown into an obsession over the years....Read More
As most obsessions go, Captain Jeremy has spent every moment he can spare on the water learning the habits of these fish, understanding the nuances of their movements, and noting how the conditions change their behaviors.
The US Marine Corps gave him the structure and confidence to drive his skills of angling into tournament fishing. Residing in Southeast Louisiana now, he has learned the ways of the water in some of the most premier fishing destinations on Earth.
His tournament team has placed numerous top ten finishes and top twenty Team of the Year standings within several tournament series of over 150 teams. He likes to indulge in the joy of fly fishing for Redfish with his own hand-crafted flies, and he is lucky enough to shares his passion for the water with his beloved wife Lindsay and his two amazing children: Lilliana and Jaiden.

Best day of fishing in my life. Captain Jeremy put us on the fish, told us everything we needed to know, and coached through any issues we had. He is also active on the boat and would have bait on your hook just as soon as you reeled back to ...Read More the boat. Most people are happy to bait their own hook, but it's the fact that he was always active, always looking to maximize his guest's fishing experience that stood out to me. I recently transplanted to the area, and Capt. Jeremy made a point to dump as much knowledge about my area as he could (I learned a ton). Get on this boat if you can; it will be money/time well spent.
