On this trip, you can fish both artificials and bait, depending on your preferences, the conditions, and what the fish are biting on! Captain Jesse has tons of expert advice to improve your presentation and put you in the best position to hook a new personal best, so you'll be in great hands when you get out there with him.
Jesse runs a 25' Skeeter bay boat that's ideal for fishing these shallow inshore areas. She's fitted out for fishing, with a 300-HP Yamaha and a full suite of amenities to enhance your experience. Captain Jesse will provide all the rods, reels, tackle, bait and ice for your trip. All you have to bring is your Louisiana fishing license and your sunscreen, and he'll take care of the rest!

My name is Brent Roy and I am a fishing charterboat captain out of Venice, Louisiana. I have been running fishing charters out of Venice since 1991. My father and I had a camp in Venice for a very long time before that.

... Read More a lawyer from Baton Rouge, and an avid Bluewater, speckled trout and redfish fisherman. We always traveled to Venice from our home in Baton Rouge, almost every weekend and I made it into my career when I was 21 years old. My dad said “We have enough lawyers. Need more fishermen!” So after graduating from LSU, that’s what I did. I know that this is a trip of a lifetime for many of you, and I want to make sure that your experience is very memorable and that you have a great time. After all, fishing is supposed to be fun and enjoyable. I look forward to meeting you in person, and getting to see you crank in a big Redfish or Seatrout!

This trip is managed by an outfitter. Jesse will be your point of contact and you will go out with one of their guides.
Payment & Tipping
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancellation/Refund Policy
The deposit for this trip is non-refundable (but if the weather is too bad to go out, you will still receive a refund).

Such a wonderful experience for my 10 year olds birthday! We couldn’t have ask for better. Jesse is AMAZING, and the customer service is like no other. I highly recommend them! If there were a 6+ they would score it. We will make this at least an annual outing.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a QR code (like a mobile boarding pass). Just show your guide your QR code on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!
In the case of inclement weather, our guides will make the call and we'll work with you to reschedule your trip or issue a full refund. Your safety is our top concern.
