On the day of the trip, you'll get off the dock aboard Captain Joe's 22' Pathfinder center console. She's built to cut through choppy waves with ease, and has enough room for three people to relax comfortably. Plus, she's powered by a 200 HP Yamaha VMax engine, so you'll be on the fish in no time. We (my wife and myself ) started off at ...Read More noon at Lee’s Landing because where we were staying for our trip and Joe went out of his way to meet us there. Joe was there when we arrived with his boat in the water ready to go. We got boarded and took off just a short distance from the ramp in the creek. Joe’s rods are perfect for the fishing area and we started catching fish within 5 minutes after stopping. Beautiful speckled trout were nice size with a couple being about 16’, fun to catch and we threw them back because we catch and release. It warmed up nice and Joe took us to several places and some were more bountiful then others. We are considering to moving to the area for the fishing and Joe was more than knowledgeable about where to go to catch different types of fish. We look forward to going red drum fishing with him in the Fall. We were lucky to have chosen Joe as our guide because of his local knowledge, fishing experience and his ability to make us comfortable during the trip.
