Read More to choose from. In the spring, you'll employ diving crank baits that can find Walleye down in the deep, cold water. Towards the middle of the summer, you'll focus on trolling for Walleye using custom inline planer boards that Captain Charles built himself! This is an exciting (and chaotic) way to fish when multiple rods start bending at once.
As the season progresses, you'll move with the fish, sometimes “up the middle” towards the Canadian boarder, or east well in view of Cedar Point. At this point, you may switch to spoons or crawler harnesses depending on what's getting the bite.

Walleye aren't known for being huge fighters, but they're some of the best-eating freshwater fish out there, and they're super fun for anglers of all levels. There's truly no better way to catch a monster specimen than this trip with Captain Charles!

You'll get out there aboard his 27' Sportcraft sportfisher, a beautiful boat that's ideal for trolling. She runs a 300-HP engine so you'll be out there in the blink of an eye, and has plenty of amenities to keep you comfortable.
