With over 25 years of experience fishing the Charleston and Mount Pleasant waters, Captain Jesse is bound to show you a great time on the water, whether inshore or offshore.

Captain Jesse fishes a brand new 26’ Sportsman 227 Platinum Edition boat. This vessel is primed for top-tier fishing charters with its SIMRAD electronics and powerful Yamaha engine. A fiberglass hardtop provides shade for passengers, while the boat comfortably seats multiple anglers. Your trip with Tight Line Charters will be comfortable, fun, and safe!

Captain Jesse exclusively uses PENN products for rods, reels and tackle. In addition to high-end gear, Captain Jesse also includes your fishing license, the use of an ice cooler, bottled water, and fish cleaning services in the price of your trip.

When packing for your Charleston fishing charter, be sure to bring sunscreen (non-spray) and a hat. Soft-soled shoes (such as white tennis shoes or deck shoes) are required to come aboard.

Captain Jesse will sure to point out the sites of historic Charleston on your way to chase Redfish, Trout, Flounder, Sheepshead, Black Seabass, and more. Night fishing trips for Bull Reds and Sharks starts just after sundown in the Charleston harbor and jetties.

Recommended packing

You should bring sunscreen and a hat. Please no spray sunscreen, as it makes the deck slippery and dangerous and also stains the fiberglass. Wear soft-soled shoes with light colored soles. White-soled tennis shoes are great. Black soles or leather soles are not welcome; they will leave hard-to-clean marks on the boat. Some brands of dark shoes will not leave marks on white decks. Don’t forget to bring your camera! While out on your trip you will see many of the historic sites and natural beauty of the Charleston Harbor.
