About Your Trip

Learn to fish new techniques and create lasting memories on the water while reeling in your personal best with Captain Jesse Riddle of Tight Line Charters! Captain Jesse welcomes anglers of all skill levels and ages to come and explore the waters surrounding Mount Pleasant, South Carolina!

On this 8-hour adventure, expect to target the Amberjack, Black Drum, Black Grouper, Gag Grouper, Jack Crevalle, Speckled Trout / Spotted Seatrout, and other species (as seen above) that inhabit the reefs outside of Charleston Harbor.

You will fish aboard Captain Jesse’s Sportsman 227 Platinum Edition boat. This ice blue beauty is a top-tier boat made with yacht caliber features and comes with the best updated Simrad electronics with the best performance from two 200 HP Yamaha engines which gives a smooth and clean ride. It features ample storage and can go from a fishing machine to a family-friendly cruising boat with the flip of a seat. She has a fiberglass hardtop t-top for ample shade with misters to keep you cool for those hot days and a deep-V bottom that cuts the chop and keeps you dry. You will be using Penn rods and reels.

You should bring food, drinks, sunscreen, and a hat, and be ready for some fun on the water. Captain Jesse requests that you don't bring spray sunscreen because it makes the deck slippery. It also stains the boat's fiberglass. Captain Jesse will provide fishing licenses and equipment.

Wear soft-soled shoes with light-colored soles. White-soled tennis shoes are great. Black soles or leather soles are not welcome; they will leave hard-to-clean marks on the boat. Some brands of dark shoes will not leave marks on white decks (ask Captain Jesse before the trip). Don’t forget to bring your camera! While out on your trip you will see many of the historic sites and natural beauty of Charleston Harbor.

Get ready for a thrilling day out with Captain Jesse as you go after a range of exciting and delicious fish that call these waters home!
