Full Day Offshore

There were five of on the charter and we all caught fish. Captain John had us on the fish, the sonar was covered up with schooling fish. We had the problem with the sharks feeding and keeping the Tuna down, we had to reel like mad men to keep the sharks from getting our catch. My wife didn’t reel fast enough on one and just got the head. Everyone had a great time and the entire crew knows their business. We are already looking at booking another trip in April or May. I’m not extremely “outdoorsie”, so a hardcore, full day, open water fishing trip isn’t usually my go-to activity. That being said, John and the crew of the Wahoo went above and beyond in showing a newbie like me an authentic and unforgettable experience. Not 10 minutes into dropping our lines, we snagged a massive wahoo and the fun never really let up after that. They assisted me every step of the way when I attempted to reel fish in, educated me when I had any questions and offered me the proper medication required to battle seasickness (which I obviously got hit with). And why hasn’t anyone else come up with the idea to capture drone footage on these charters??? BRILLIANT! I walked away with an awesome video documenting our trip, compliments of John and his crew. A+ charter and overall experience! Again, I don’t do these kinds of trips often, but I will 100% roll with Wahoo whenever I do.
