About Your Guide

Captain Randy Seidel of Seidel Guide Service specializes in wade and drift fishing with live or artificial baits and wants to make your fishing trip an unforgettable one.

Captain Randy Seidel is a full-time professional guide who fishes Texas inshore bays from Rockport to Baffin Bay and specializes in wade and drift fishing for Speckled Trout, Redfish and Flounder using artificial lures or bait. Let Captain Seidel guide you across the pristine Texas bays in search of giant tailing redfish and trophy size speckled trout.

All charters are provided with top of the line tackle, a brand new spotless, clean boat, and a knowledgeable, friendly captain. Texas offers world class bay fishing every month of the year and whether you prefer fly fishing, lure fishing or live bait fishing, Texas is the place.

The Texas "big three" species consist of Redfish, Flounder and Speckled Trout. It is not uncommon to catch dozens of these hard fighting fish each trip with a good possibility at scoring what locals label the "Texas Grand Slam", one or more of each species in one day.

Aside from the Texas "big three," there are countless other species to catch so you never know what to expect. Depending on the time of year, you might find Tarpon, Bluefish, Black Drum, Ladyfish, Spanish Mackerel, Sheepshead, Jack Crevalle or Sharks bending your rod!

Great day of fishing with Captain Randy! We loved that he was relaxed and just enjoyed the day with us. Although we hoped to catch a ton of fish, spending time together in the water was the main goal. Lucky us! We caught a ton of red drum and Captain Randy knee right where they were biting. Great day! Great trip!

We had a wonderful time. We chose a poor season to fish, but Randy never stopped and we did get some drum and trout. Randy is laid back and never makes anyone feel like they know too little to be on his boat. We will 100% use this fishing charter in the future… Having only two people plus a guide makes the best experience!

I would highly recommend Captain Randy. By far this was the best trip we have taken. We had a great time. Came back with several Reds and drums but not just that this trip was truly an experience for my 16 year old boys. Randy taught them some keys tricks of the trade that will never be forgotten.
