About Your Trip

He will provide the leaders, extra tippet, and all the flies you will need for the day, but bring your own 7-9 weight rod and your wading boots (old tennis shoes will work). If you have waders you can bring them as well if you think it will be cold enough to warrant them, but in the summertime, it gets warm enough by early morning that they'll hardly be necessary.

About Your Guide

Captain Nick was born and raised in Galveston County, where he has been fishing the Galveston Bay Complex since he was 2 years old in. He developed his passion for wade fishing when he was a teenager, and has been fly fishing the Galveston waters ever since. Fishing has been in his family for 4 generations. He is currently continuing the tradition by passing down all his tips to his son. If you're looking for a guide with extensive knowledge of the area, Captain Nick is your man!

We had a great time with Capt Nick. He was very knowledgeable and he really improved our fly casting, which was our objective for this trip. We will be back!
