Captain Eric was a class act. He was extremely helpful, friendly, and a great conversationalist. I would book with him every time.
My girlfriend and I charted a boat with Captain Eric on a Sunday. We were 20 minutes late but Eric is very relaxed and wasn't bothered by this. In fact, it was Eric's laid-back demeanor that made this trip so enjoyable for us. Eric is also easy to make good conversation with and has plenty of good stories. In addition, he was very encouraging and optimistic the entire trip as we went around Galveston's shallow industrial areas and pier restaurants looking for Flounder. At the end, Eric extended the time limit in order to catch more fish and accommodate our tardiness and didn't get pushy on the time limit, which I was very appreciative of. All in all, this was a great trip and I'm happy to have had Eric guide us.
Captain Eric did a great job. I never fished before. He was very patient. And when the spot we had wasn’t biting…. we went to another! And they were biting like crazy. The first thing I caught… a baby shark!’ It was so much fun! My boyfriend who has fished many times… and his daughter, a first timer, loved it also. So it’s good for any skill! Great communication and all together wonderful experience. And we enjoyed our fish that night for dinner. Highly recommend… it’s family owned… let’s support our locals!!!
We had a fantastic half day trip with Captain Eric. Both guys were Fantastic and didn’t even give me a hard time when I had weak tummy. All my guys had such a great time and my teenagers were taught so much. We will definitely plan another trip.
