Captain Randys will customize your Lake Sabine Fishing Trip to meet your expectations....Read More
You can expect to chase down all kinds of inshore denizens on your trip with Captain Randy, and you will use a variety of different methods depending on the conditions and your goals for the day.
For example: Redfish are best caught on crankbait close to the rocks in Sabine lake. While fishing these jetties you can also catch a few Speckled Trout using 1/4 jig close to the rocks. Fishing in the Sabine ship channel is a good place to hook into some nice Speckled Trout as well, fishing the shelf in 2 ft to 6 ft of water keying on mullet and glass minnows. Sabine Lakes south reef is also great for trout fishing in 4 ft to 14 ft of water fishing humps with lots of shell keying on shad and glass minnows. Redfish mixed in with some flounder can also be caught in the incoming tide. Fishing the south and north wall for trout and Redfish along the rocks is best with light north winds. Bessie Heights marsh holds lots Redfish that run 20 to 28 inches. Limits of nice flounder can also be caught with fish up to 19 inches.
So whatever species you are looking to get into, or whichever method you prefer to use, Captain Randy can hook you up!
