The Storm Shack Matagorda Lodge and 42' 2019 Freeman, "Hail Storm", speak for themselves. This lodging / offshore fishing combo is unmatched along the Texas Gulf Coast for good reason.
Storm Shack Matagorda is located right on Matagorda Bay in downtown Matagorda, TX. The inshore fishing for Redfish Speckled Trout, and Flounder and offshore fishing for Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Marlin, and Wahoo is always hot, and downtown Matagorda is only a convenient 3 hours from Austin and 2 from Houston.
Amenities include a pool, hot tub, fire pit, full bar, living room, and kitchen, along with 10 bedrooms (2 with king beds and 8 with full/queen beds), each with its own private bathroom.
The pool looks inviting, but save it 'til you're off the saltwater. The property's location is perfect for bay fishing for Redfish and Speckled Trout out in either East or West Matagorda Bay, as well as chasing offshore trophies aboard the Hail Storm...
The Hail Storm is a brand new 2019 Freeman 42LR with quad 350 Suzuki Outboards. She's fitted with state-of-the-art Simrad electronics, full tank live wells, ample fish boxes, dual row seating, and a tuna tower for spotting fish.
