Captain Michael lives to fish, and he knows how to get you on the Redfish, Trout, Black Drum, and Flounder for a spectacular day off Texas' Coastal Bend! Based out of the Aransas Pass area, he primarily fishes the Aransas, Copano, St. Charles, Carlos, Mesquite, Ayres, and San Antonio Bays, but can also pick you up in Port Aransas....Read More
Though he is willing to pick you up almost anywhere, he likes to launch from behind the Deep Sea Headquarters in Aransas Pass aboard his 22' Champion with a 200 HP Yamaha motor that provides a comfortable and quick ride out to chase the fish. This boat likes to get "skinny" and is perfect for chasing tailing reds into shallow water. It also comes with a trolling motor, t-top, and front fishing deck with plenty of room to fish with four guests.
Once out on the water Captain Michael likes to fish with mostly live bait, cut bait, and some artificials, to target these inshore denizens, with proven success!
Captain Michael will provide everything from rods, reels, tackle, bait, to cleaning your catch and a memorable day on the water! So all you need to bring is a cooler with your favorite snacks/drinks, a camera for bragging rights, and your Texas Fishing license, and let Captain Michael take care of the rest!
Captain Michael has been fishing his entire life. Every chance he gets he's out on the water chasing down anything that can swim! Though he spent the majority of his career working on the rigs, he recently realized his true calling of sharing his extensive knowledge of fish habits and putting smiles on clients faces was much more important to him! These days, that's exactly what he does!

I was able to book a short notice trip with Capt Mike. He was very accommodating and his boat was plenty roomy. He put us on the fish but we couldn’t hook(our fault). We had several big trout on but couldn’t get them in the boat. ...Read More Again our fault. He did take us to a spot where got our fill of gulf trout and they were delicious. Thanks Capt Mike for a wonderful time out on the bay!!
