What a day. Captain Roger greeted us at the dock, helped us onto the boat and the adventure began. We told the Capt. that we could not take fish home easily on the plane home so we just wanted the poles to bend. Bend they did. I took my son and son in law on our first off shore experience and all I can say is this trip was beyond anything I could imagine. We caught fish from the time we started until we departed for the return trip back to the dock. Six foot shark, 40 pound King mackerel and 14 other Kings in the 20 to 35 pound range. Also 2 Jacks at about 25 pounds apiece. Hate to admit this but our arms were so sore that the end of the trip was welcomed. I could not recommend Capt. Roger more highly. First class all the way. Will book this trip the next time we are in Texas.

This is our 4th year to fish with Captain Roger. Every year he just keeps delivering a fantastic experience! The Last Call is big and comfortable with an air conditioned cabin to take a break from the heat. His mate Alec is energetic, passionate about fishing, and taking care of customers. Roger has always put us on lots of fish. This year he found really big ones! Roger and Alec helped me take home 1st place for Kingfish in the Deep sea roundup tournament and a lifetime of memories. I highly recommend you charter with Southwest Sport Fishing and make some memories of your own!

This was an awesome experience for our family(my wife and I, 14 year old son and 13 year old daughter). The Captain had several spots to go to if fishing slowed down or stopped and it provided us with an experience that will never be forgotten. The Captain and first mate were laid back and easy to talk too. If we go back and do this again we will most definitely use them again. The Captain has many years on these waters, it’s very obvious he knows where the fish are. They were very helpful with instruction and most importantly very patient with us as we were pretty much newbies at this style of fishing.
