Steve was a great captain. Very patient, kind and fun company. We enjoyed our first fishing trip in Galveston.
5/5 would recommend
Steve was a great guide easy going and easy to work with. His great attitude and demeanor while working to keep my teenage daughters first saltwater fishing experience great was above and beyond. Thank you Steve you made it a great day.
Great captain with a lot of knowledge about the area! I would recommend this trip to anyone.
We had a wonderful time all around. I went with my brothers and we all have fishing experience but not from a boat. It has been raining a lot so we didn't have our hopes up for a large haul. Captain Steve took us around a couple places until we ...Read More were able to get on some fish. According to the local posting we did quite well given the circumstances. We used his gear and had no issues. He knows his stuff and was very easy to be comfortable around for the entire time, which only added to our experience. He was very professional and helpful. We learned a thing or two and would certainly use him again. - Cheers and tight lines!
Steve was able to score us some live shrimp which has been hard the past few weeks. He did mention that it has been a slow bite as well but you couldn’t tell by our trip. Every drift we made we caught fish, as you can see by the pics. ...Read More Steve is very friendly and helpful, he did try to fish himself but we kept busy so he couldn’t.
I took my nephew for an all day trip with Captain Steve. Unfortunately, there was a lot of wind most of the day. Captain Steve worked very hard to put us on fish. We were limited to more protected areas, but Captain Steve kept working hard and ...Read More trying different areas and we could tell he really wanted for us to boat fish. Even though the winds were so high, the hard work paid off and we were able to catch a few speckled trout and land this monster. We all had a good time and I highly recommend Tejas Salt and Captain Steve. We are planning our next trip and if the weather cooperates, we believe we will do better the next time. We had a lot of fun and Captain Steve knows his craft.
My experience with Tejas Salt was great! Capt Steve, was extremely knowledgeable of Galveston fishing patterns and techniques. He also recommended specific lures and top water baits for specific fishing spots based on the conditions. I would recommend Capt Steve and Tejas Salt to anyone regardless of experience. I look ...Read More forward to my next trip!!
