If you're looking for an action-packed morning on the water, Captain Connor's Shark Fishing Charter out of Shem Creek is the perfect fit—especially for families with young anglers ready to reel in something big! These trips are all about thrills, laughs, and nonstop rod-bending action as you go head-to-fin with some of the ocean’s most exciting predators.

You'll be fishing the inshore waters of the Charleston area, where you'll drop baits for Bonnethead Sharks, Blacktip Sharks, Atlantic Sharpnose, Sandbar Sharks, and even the occasional Lemon or Bull Shark. These hard-fighting species put on a show and make for unforgettable memories—especially for kids who want to hook into something strong!

Captain Connor runs a safe and family-friendly operation aboard his 22’ Bulls Bay center console, which has plenty of room for up to 4 guests. He provides all heavy tackle, bait, and gear, including kid-sized equipment and life jackets, so even the youngest anglers are ready for action. The boat is licensed and insured, so there’s no need to worry about fishing permits—just show up ready to fish!

Cold drinks are available on board, and you’re welcome to bring your own snacks (just avoid glass containers and hard liquor). For the best experience, don’t forget sun protection—bring a hat, sunglasses, and reef-safe sunscreen (no spray, please).

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 3 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 3 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
