Spend a day on Lake Buchanan with Captain Gary for a fun, laid-back trip targeting some of the most popular freshwater species in Central Texas. You’ll be using a combination of trolling, live bait fishing, and jigging to stay on the bite throughout the trip. Whether you’re chasing schools of White Bass, working deeper water for Stripers and Hybrids, or mixing in Catfish action, Captain Gary will adjust the game plan to keep rods bent and maximize your time on the water.

These trips are a great fit for anglers of all experience levels, from first-timers to seasoned fishermen. Captain Gary runs a family-friendly operation and is known for his patience and customer-first approach, making sure everyone on board is comfortable, learning, and having a good time. Whether you’re looking for a relaxed outing with the family or a more focused trip targeting bigger fish, he’s got you covered.

You’ll be fishing aboard a 23’ Sea Hunt center console powered by a 200HP Yamaha, with room for up to 6 anglers. The boat is equipped with GPS, fishfinder, and a wireless trolling motor to stay on fish and move efficiently between spots.

All rods, reels, tackle, live bait, and lures are included in the trip, and your catch will be cleaned and filleted at the end of the day so it’s ready to take home. You’re welcome to keep all legal fish caught during your trip.

Just be sure to purchase a valid Texas fishing license ahead of time and bring along any drinks, snacks, and sun protection you’ll need for the day.

You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.
This trip is managed by an outfitter. Gary will be your point of contact and you will go out with one of their guides.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.
