About Your Trip

Fishing on Houston's San Jacinto River is an experience everyone will enjoy.

It's a big river with lots of sandy beaches - and lots of big fish.

Alligator Gar, Blue, Channel, and Flathead Catfish, Redfish, Bass can all be caught on the same day on the San Jac with the right conditions. However, let me know what you prioritize as target #1 so we can plan the day accordingly.

Depending on the tides and the
wind we'll plan our course for the day. We usually pass by the marina around mid-day. Pit stops for restrooms, more beer, and lunch are common and welcome (Captain will never turn down a sweet tea!).

If you're planning on keeping fish to take home, please let me know ahead of time so I can be prepared with the correct tools.

The San Jac is a publicly accessible body of water so some boat traffic should be expected with heavier traffic in the warmer months, especially during the summer and the weekends.
