Get offshore with Captain Ethan and his team for a true Gulf of Mexico deep sea experience, fishing out of Bradenton and Anna Maria Island. These trips are designed to put you on productive reefs, wrecks, ledges, and deep-water structure, giving you access to some of the best fishing Florida’s west coast has to offer.

Whether you’re looking to fill the cooler with quality snapper and grouper or chase bigger pelagic species offshore, every trip is tailored to current conditions and what’s biting best. You might find yourself bottom fishing over structure for Red, Mangrove, Yellowtail, Lane, and Vermilion Snapper, or working deeper spots for Gag, Red, Scamp, and Black Grouper. When the opportunity is right, you can also target Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Blackfin Tuna, Cobia, Amberjack, Kingfish, Permit, Barracuda, and Sharks.

Trip length determines how far offshore you’ll run and the type of fishing you’ll focus on. Shorter 4-hour trips stay within 10–15 miles in shallower water for steady snapper action and are a great fit for families or anyone looking for a half-day on the water. The 6-hour trips push farther offshore to deeper reefs and wrecks, offering more variety and better chances at larger fish. Full-day 8-hour trips allow you to reach less-pressured structure in deeper water where bigger snapper and grouper are commonly found.

For anglers looking to maximize range and target true trophy fish, the 10 and 12-hour trips are the ultimate offshore experience. These long-range runs can reach 40–90 miles offshore into deeper blue water, fishing wrecks and ledges where large snapper, grouper, and pelagic species thrive. With more time on the water and access to more remote areas, these trips consistently offer the best shot at bigger fish and a wider variety.

You’ll be fishing aboard a federally permitted 32’ Ocean Master, built for offshore performance and equipped with advanced electronics to stay on the bite. The boat comfortably accommodates up to 6 anglers and includes a clean onboard restroom for added comfort throughout the day.

All trips are private, meaning the entire boat is reserved just for your group. Premium rods, reels, and tackle are provided, along with the experience and local knowledge needed to make the most of your time offshore. Captain Ethan and his team focus on creating a smooth, safe, and productive day on the water for anglers of all skill levels.

Be sure to bring polarized sunglasses, sunscreen (SPF 50+ recommended), and a hat or ballcap for sun protection. You’re welcome to bring a cooler with food and drinks, or let the crew know if you’d like to use onboard space. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but no glass containers. For trips over 4 hours, a long sleeve shirt is recommended, and branded shirts are available for purchase if needed.

Your trip includes top-quality Penn International, Shimano, Daiwa, and Avet rods and reels, along with a large cooler stocked with ice-cold water for the group. A variety of live bait may be used depending on conditions, including shiners, pinfish, threadfin, sardines, and shrimp, along with frozen bait like squid and cut bait. After the trip, your catch will be cleaned and bagged at the dock, ready to take home. U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jackets are available for all ages and equipped with lights and whistles for safety.

Captain Ethan has guided from Tampa Bay all the way to the Florida keys! Fishing has always been a true passion of his. He really enjoy using a variety of fishing techniques through the year while targeting the wide range of fish species we have to offer on the west coast of Florida. He mostly uses live bait but there are times he likes to use cut bait and artificial lures. Fishing is a science and you must approach each targeted fish with the proper techniques to achieve the best results. Over the past 30+ years of fishing Ethan has learned a lot of secret locations in our local waterways and he is excited to show you a great time on the water catching fish like a true local would. We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 3 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 3 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
