About Your Trip

Get out there and "get hooked" on this trip with Captain Ron on the Galveston Bay Complex! He has years of experience fishing the water here off Galveston, and will make sure to put you on fish during this 5-hour inshore adventure. You'll be targeting classic inshore sportfish species, such as Black Drum, Redfish, Spotted Trout, and Flounder. On a good day, you can even take home a "Texas Triple" or a "Texas Grand Slam" by catching a Redfish, a Flounder, and a Speckled Trout in one day!

Captain Ron runs his trips on board a 25' Haynie bay boat, which is perfect for fishing everything from skinny water all the way out into the Bay. She's kitted out with gear and amenities to enhance your trip, and sports a 250-HP Mercury engine to get you from dock to dock in a hurry!

When you book a trip with Captain Ron, you'll only need to bring some drinks & snacks, plus your Texas fishing license with a saltwater stamp. Don't forget to wear the proper clothing for the weather conditions (especially a hat and sunglasses). Captain Ron will provide you with quality rods & reels, all tackle, the latest artificial lures, and Coast Guard-approved safety equipment so you can be completely safe and comfortable. Book a trip with him and bag a new personal best!

I have been fishing the Galveston Bay Complex for over 30 years. I love taking customers out to enjoy a morning on the water and showing them how to catch fish instead of them watching me catch fish. I live on the water in Crystal Beach, TX on Bolivar Peninsula. All equipment is furnished and your catch will be cleaned and bagged to take with you. Customers leave from a private dock with private parking at my home in Crystal Beach. Part of the reason I became a guide is so I could share my love of fishing with others. We enjoy having the entire family out on the bay. We want to be best part of your vacation and to see y'all on your next visit to the Bolivar Peninsula. Hope to see you soon.
