If you’re looking for fast-paced fishing, stunning colors, and hard-fighting fish, this trip is for you. Whether you're an experienced angler or new to offshore fishing, the thrill of hooking into a high-flying Mahi is something you won’t forget!

Port Canaveral is a prime launching point for chasing Mahi Mahi (also known as Dorado or Dolphin fish). These powerful fish thrive in the deep blue waters offshore, especially near weed lines, floating debris, and current rips. The most effective way to target them is by trolling lures and natural bait, but when a school is fired up, get ready for some incredible sight casting action!

You’ll be fishing aboard a custom 33’ Stuart Angler Sportfish, a fast, comfortable offshore machine. As one of the fastest six-passenger charter boats in Port Canaveral, you’ll spend more time fishing and less time riding. The boat features a fully enclosed pilothouse, a spacious cabin with a private restroom, a large cooler for drinks, and a fish box to store your catch. Powered by twin 315 HP Yanmar turbo diesels, she cruises at 25 mph, ensuring a smooth and efficient trip to the fishing grounds.

Everything you need is included—top-tier rods, reels, bait, tackle, ice, and fishing licenses—so all you have to bring is sunscreen, a hat, food, drinks, and a cooler to take home your fresh Mahi fillets. If they’re in season, you can keep your catch, and the crew will clean it for you at no extra charge!

This trip is fully customizable and family-friendly for anglers ages 8 and up. Mahi fishing is an exciting experience for anglers of all skill levels, with rapid-fire bites and spectacular jumps making every hookup a thrill. Captain Chris is a true Florida native. Growing up around water, he quickly developed a passion for fishing. Having fished off of Cape Canaveral for over 25 years, he understands the fish migration habits, the secret spots, and the seas. Weather patterns, tides, and the time of year have great influences on where the fish are. Captain Chris is also a commercial fisherman which means that his success relies on his knowledge and experience. He will ensure you have the best possible chance to have an incredible fishing adventure.

Captain Ryan has also been fishing the Port Canaveral and Cocoa Beach waters for over 20 years. He has honed his fishing skills through years of running the local charter boats and commercial king mackerel fishing. He will ensure that your trip is an adventure you will remember.

All rods, reels, and tackle are included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and any gear of your own you want to use on the trip.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

This trip is managed by an outfitter. Chris & Ryan will be your point of contact and you will go out with one of their guides.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

In the event of inclement weather, our guides will check the conditions and make the final call on whether its safe to go on the trip. If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
