About Your Trip

On this trip, you'll head offshore with Captain Stephen to "go deep" for Red Grouper, one of the biggest and tastiest fish in the Gulf! This offshore adventure is great for anglers of all levels, so bring your friends or folks! The Red Grouper is one of the most sought-after species in this area, known for its delicious taste. These reef fish are typically found in deeper waters, ranging from 50 to 200 feet, making them a prime target for offshore charters.

Your trip will start early in the morning. You'll head out on board Captain Stephen's 28' Parker pilothouse, which features all the gear and amenities you need for an epic trip! After you reach the deep water, you'll drop lines down to jig the reefs and rocks, aiming to attract some big bites. The bait will vary depending on what the fish are feeding on that day.

Once you've hooked a Red Grouper, be prepared for a challenging fight. These fish can grow up to 50 pounds and will put up a significant struggle, testing your skills and strength as an angler. But once you've reeled in your catch, you'll be rewarded with delicious, firm white meat that is perfect for grilling or frying!

Aside from Red Grouper, you may also encounter other species such as Vermillion Snapper, Lane Snapper, Grouper, and Amberjack, all of which can provide an exciting fight and make for a memorable trip.

In between catches, take the time to enjoy the stunning scenery and the wildlife that surrounds you, including dolphins, sea turtles, and seabirds. A charter fishing trip here in Bokeelia, FL, is an unforgettable experience!

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

If the weather doesn’t cooperate you’ll be covered by our 100% weather guarantee and you won’t lose your deposit.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!

In the case of inclement weather, our guides will make the call and we'll work with you to reschedule your trip or issue a credit for the full deposit of the trip to be used on any of our trips across the country. Your safety is our top concern.

Each trip’s price is set by the guide and factors in all of their costs. A big determinant of cost is often the type of boat and associated fuel costs, but other guide costs include leases, marina / slip fees, bait costs, and the cost to provide and maintain all of the gear you’ll need on your trip.
