Spearfishing, when done correctly, is the most sustainable way to harvest fish. We offer spearfishing charters to all experience levels for both freedivers and scuba divers. Leave all the logistics to us! We take care of your fishing licenses, dive/spearfishing equipment, and assist you in the water to ensure you hunt the correct size of the fish in season. After your spearfishing charter, we will fillet your catch and package it for your convenience!

 Diver safety and the safety of the marine life we visit are our number one priorities on all charters. For this reason, you will always be accompanied by one of our professional spearfishing guides, included in your charter price.

Offshore pelagic spearfishing is the apex of hunting in the Florida Keys! Islamorada is blessed with a changing year-round fishery. Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, and Tuna are only a few of the many species you can target. These charters are for experienced hunters looking for the fish of a lifetime! Bluewater spearfishing equipment and a professional in-water guide is included.

Pelagic fish can be difficult to hunt, they are always on the move and it takes years of experience to find them. Each day presents new challenges and opportunities, this is part of the thrill when hunting these fish. Bluewater spearfishing is our specialty, this is what we live for! Captain Tony's charter is a full service charter business, located in beautiful Islamorada Florida. We offer a wide range of charter services and specialize in spearfishing, for both freediving and scuba diving, and fishing. When you book, you are booking a fully private and all-inclusive adventure. Our staff takes care of every detail to ensure you have the most memorable on water experience. We have a wide range of charter options available and service the entire upper Florida Keys, from Key Largo to Marathon. Our vessels are well maintained and rigged specifically for your charter, all equipment is included and will be set up and ready for you. The staff is the best in the industry, we will assist you every step of the way to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable experience. On board, there will be iced beer, water and light snacks. All licenses are included if you are spearfishing, fishing, or hunting lobster.

At our dock, there is shaded seating and the locally famous Square Grouper Restaurant. Relax and enjoy yourself, we will take care of your gear and clean any fish that you got during your charter. If your spending more than one day with us, we will store your equipment and have it ready for your next trip.

Snacks and Drinks, Weather Appropriate Gear, Sun Protection, Camera. Need scuba certification if diving. Fishing License, Spears, Hawaiian Slings, 1 air tank for every 2 hours, Water, Ice, Coolers included.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

This trip is managed by an outfitter. Tony will be your point of contact and you will go out with one of their guides.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

The deposit for this trip is non-refundable (but if the weather is too bad to go out, you will still receive a credit back to your account).

If the weather doesn’t cooperate you’ll be covered by our 100% weather guarantee and you won’t lose your deposit.

Tony and Scotty were very courteous and did their best to get us into fish. Weather was not in our favor as it was cold and water temp was cold. Landed a 6 foot sail fish, some Atlantic spades and a rainbow racer! Great day on the water!!

We vet our guides to make sure they are the best of the best. We want guides who not only put you on 'em, but show you a great time, keep you safe, and give you a memorable experience with your group.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!

In the case of inclement weather, our guides will make the call and we'll work with you to reschedule your trip or issue a credit for the full deposit of the trip to be used on any of our trips across the country. Your safety is our top concern.

Each trip’s price is set by the guide and factors in all of their costs. A big determinant of cost is often the type of boat and associated fuel costs, but other guide costs include leases, marina / slip fees, bait costs, and the cost to provide and maintain all of the gear you’ll need on your trip.
