This trip is for the avid fishermen! If you've got some experience with casting light spinning tackle, come and enjoy a day full of thrills as you sight fish for Shark and Cobia, traveling along Northeast Florida beaches on bait pods.

Outfitted with a custom T-top and plenty of safe, comfortable seating, you'll be fishing aboard Captain Franks 24 foot Pathfinder that offers great versatility and comfort. The Pathfinder is rigged with state-of-the-art electronics, a
top-notch trolling motor, perfect for stalking these nearshore fish.

All rods, reels, tackle, and bait will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your favorite rod and reel if you'd like. If your a really experienced angler, and would like to try fly fishing for these awesome surf front beasts, feel free to bring your own rod and reel, and Captain Frank will supply the flies and tackle, and you'll be all set to try and hook into your next trophy on the fly!

Ice, water, and soft drinks will be provided as well, so all Captain Frank recommends you bring are your favorite snacks and drinks, your sunglasses, and other weather-appropriate gear whether that's sun protection or rain gear.

Captain Frank is the son of a tugboat captain and has been fishing ever since he could hold a rod. During his early childhood, he fished freshwater and transitioned to saltwater around the age of 10. He bought his first fishing boat right after graduating from Law school and became active and successful in Kingfishing Tournaments in the late ’80s and early ’90s. He spent the next 10 years fishing the waters of St. Augustine and Bahamas for Wahoo and Marlin for before he transitioned into inshore fishing for Redfish, Tarpon, Permit, and Bonefish in 1999. He loves taking people fishing and exposing people to the incredible fishery in northeast Florida. He teaches not only about fishing but also about the ecosystem, helping people see all the small things were a lot of beauty can be found.

Captain Frank has been running guided trips for almost 25 years. From offshore/deepsea trips to inshore/skinny water trips, Captain Frank has such an outstanding birth of experience. Now running a 24' Pursuit he runs trips in the middle there, exploring inshore rivers and beachfront surf, as well as nearshore reef adventures as well.

Whether you desire to seek your thrills in the rivers and creeks of Northeast Florida or “outside the rocks” in the nearshore waters of the Atlantic, Captain Frank and his 24' Pursuit has the equipment, the experience, the expertise, and the enthusiasm to make your fishing dreams come true.

I am always prepared to make a change to adapt to what's going on. I just try really hard. My priorities are to show my clients a good time, teach them about our fisheries and techniques and catch fish. I pay very close attention to my equipment and provide quality tackle.

Captain Experiences is the home of over 1500 Damn Good fishing and hunting guides. Our mission is to unlock the outdoors for everyone, and we want to help you get out there through our no-hassle online booking experience and our team of outdoors experts.
We vet our guides to make sure they are the best of the best. We want guides who not only put you on 'em, but show you a great time, keep you safe, and give you a memorable experience with your group.
Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!
In the case of inclement weather, our guides will make the call and we'll work with you to reschedule your trip or issue a credit for the full deposit of the trip to be used on any of our trips across the country. Your safety is our top concern.
Each trip’s price is set by the guide and factors in all of their costs. A big determinant of cost is often the type of boat and associated fuel costs, but other guide costs include leases, marina / slip fees, bait costs, and the cost to provide and maintain all of the gear you’ll need on your trip.
