About Your Trip

With a draft of less then 5" and an all-welded aluminum construction, the Flats Tracker will get you up close and personal with the fish! It's equipped with a 21' Stiffy Hybrid Push Pole that allows the boat to glide quietly right to the fish (as well as a 55lb thrust MinnKota trolling motor upon request and style of fishing) and a 6' Power Pole. The Tracker can hold Captain Matt and one other person, and is perfect for those that want to fly fish or use light tackle and sight fish.

Captain Matt is a very passionate angler who prides himself on making sure that no matter what the circumstances of the day might be, you will still have a great time out on the water. Safety is always the number one priority. Captain Matt is very flexible and is willing to do what it takes to make your dream day on the water a reality!

Captain Matt comes prepared with all the necessary Licensing as well as full insurance coverage, all the necessary bait and tackle for the type of fishing that day as well as iced down coolers with nonalcoholic drinks (water, Gatorade, Soda, etc. depending on what Matt has in stock), and you will only use high quality, well-maintained Shimano and Penn reels paired up with St. Croix, TFO, and Shimano rods. If you want to bring your own gear that's awesome as well! Just let Captain Matt know in the days leading up to your trip.

No Black Soled Shoes and No Glass. Licenses, Bait, Tackle, Non Alcoholic Drinks (Water, Gatorade, Soda), High Quality Shimano and Penn Reels, St. Croix, TFO, and Shimano Rods included.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 3 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account.

We vet our guides to make sure they are the best of the best. We want guides who not only put you on 'em, but show you a great time, keep you safe, and give you a memorable experience with your group.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!

In the case of inclement weather, our guides will make the call and we'll work with you to reschedule your trip or issue a credit for the full deposit of the trip to be used on any of our trips across the country. Your safety is our top concern.

Each trip’s price is set by the guide and factors in all of their costs. A big determinant of cost is often the type of boat and associated fuel costs, but other guide costs include leases, marina / slip fees, bait costs, and the cost to provide and maintain all of the gear you’ll need on your trip.
