About Your Trip

Turn your young ones onto the great sport of saltwater fishing with this introductory trip! The inshore waters of Panama City Beach are perfect for beginner level anglers to catch some picture-worthy fish without going too far from the dock!

Captain Greg will show your kids everything they need to know before they get their lines in the water. On this exciting 3-hour trip, your young ones will get to test their skills on a
variety of fish including Black Drum, Flounder, Gag Grouper, King Mackerel, Mangrove Snapper, Red Snapper, Redfish, Sheepshead, Spanish Mackerel, and Speckled Trout. Captain Greg is happy to show beginners how to target these fish using light tackle, artificial lures, bottom fishing, and fly fishing.

This trip takes place aboard a 22' Sea Chaser bay boat that can fit up to 4 anglers. Powered by a 150 HP Mercury engine, this vessel will safely get your little ones to where the fish are biting! On board is all the navigational equipment and safety gear they'll need for a successful trip. She comes equipped with a tower that is key for sight fishing purposes and gives Captain Greg a huge advantage for the purpose of pointing out fish to his anglers.

Captain Greg will provide all rods, reels, tackle and live bait. He will happily clean any keepers for an additional charge. We recommend you and your kids bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and any food, drinks or motion sickness aid they might need. Climb aboard with Captain Greg for this family-friendly adventure!

Captain Greg is a 5th generation Panama City native who has been fishing the local waters since a very young age. He is driven to provide exceptional service to his clients and give them the fishing trip of a lifetime!

Redfish are Captain Greg's bread and butter; He spends the majority of his time stalking redfish in shallow waters. He also has plenty of experience with other Gulf species, and will occasionally fish the nearshore Gulf reefs for red snapper
or cruise the beach looking for migrating tarpon. Whatever species you're going after, Captain Greg is sure to have some great tips!

On his 22’ bay boat, Captain Greg can carry up to 4 passengers while targeting any of the above named species. For more experienced fishermen he offers a fly or light tackle sight fishing trip on his 14’ flats skiff, which will carry 1-2 passengers.
