Hop on board with Captain John and get ready for an exciting day of deep-water fishing in the Florida Gulf! The deep sea waters off of Panama City are great for going after some of the big game fish that Florida is known for.

On this 12-hour trip, Captain John will take you from Panama City out to the deep waters of the Florida Gulf where you can expect to target a huge selection of
Grouper, Marlin, Mackerel, Shark, Snapper, Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Amberjack and many more. Depending on what you want to catch you can use one of a variety of methods, and Captain John's vessel is equipped for light tackle, artificial lures, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, jigging, drift fishing, and deep dropping. Just let Captain John know what you want to catch and he'll get you set up with the best method!

Captain John will provide all rods, reels, tackle, and Frozen bait. Customers can buy live bait for an additional cost at the marina or bait boat on the way out. All you need to bring are sunglasses, sunscreen, and any food and drinks you might want and a tip for the deckhand standard is 20%. These exciting full-day trips can host up to 6 people, so make sure you bring some good company and a camera.

The fishing license for the whole group is also included. There is a fish cleaning company at the dock called the Gut Hut they will take care of all of your fish cleaning needs including the option of vacuum sealing. We also have a new Tiki Bar at the marina for you while you wait with drinks TV's and some food options Feel free to bring food and drinks of your choice (Alcohol is allowed) as well as a cooler to bring home your day’s catch.

Weather was rough on the original date as well we had been dealing with storms and rough weather. Also I did cut the cost of the trip due to rough fishing. I do apologize for the weather but I did offer to cancel all together as well with no cost to you.

In the case of inclement weather, our guides will make the call and we'll work with you to reschedule your trip or issue a credit for the full deposit of the trip to be used on any of our trips across the country. Your safety is our top concern.
Each trip’s price is set by the guide and factors in all of their costs. A big determinant of cost is often the type of boat and associated fuel costs, but other guide costs include leases, marina / slip fees, bait costs, and the cost to provide and maintain all of the gear you’ll need on your trip.
