Head out for a trip to remember as you venture off the coast of Pensacola with Captain Jacob! On this 6-hour fishing trip you'll be aboard a speedy 24' Robalo center console that can do some intense trolling or getting you to a bottom fishing spot in a hurry.

Trolling the open waters can produce hard fighting species like Amberjacks, Kingfish, Wahoo, Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, and more. Trolling trips are great because the boat and the knowledge of your captain take care of half the work for you. You get to sit back, relax, enjoy the sweet sea breeze, and rest your arms while you wait for the reel to start screaming and your work to begin.

Bottom fishing will attract a completely different set of fish. You can expect delicious and hard-fighting reef species here; impressive Gag Grouper, amazing Trigger Fish and the ever popular Red Snapper are just a few of the species encountered by anglers reeling in fish from the ocean bottom in Pensacola.

Captain Jacob fishes aboard a 24’ Robalo R242 center console with a capacity for six people. Powered by twin Yamaha engines for a combined 300 HP, this vessel is safe and steady on its way offshore. This luxurious vessel is complete with GPS, Fishfinder, a Live Bait Well, a Multimedia System, Outriggers, an Ice Box to store your catches and an on board bathroom. Captain Jacob will even clean your fish for no extra cost!

Captain Jacob will provide all rods, reels, and tackle. All you need is sunglasses, sunscreen, water, and weather-appropriate clothing. These family-friendly trips can host up to 6 people, so make sure you bring some good company!

This trip is managed by an outfitter. Jacob will be your point of contact and you will go out with one of their guides.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

We vet our guides to make sure they are the best of the best. We want guides who not only put you on 'em, but show you a great time, keep you safe, and give you a memorable experience with your group.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!

In the case of inclement weather, our guides will make the call and we'll work with you to reschedule your trip or issue a credit for the full deposit of the trip to be used on any of our trips across the country. Your safety is our top concern.

Each trip’s price is set by the guide and factors in all of their costs. A big determinant of cost is often the type of boat and associated fuel costs, but other guide costs include leases, marina / slip fees, bait costs, and the cost to provide and maintain all of the gear you’ll need on your trip.
