Head offshore with Captain Mike aboard his luxurious 28' Contender for an awesome day exploring the DEEEP water!

While most offshore charters are restricted to staying within state water off the emerald coast (~9mi offshore), Captain Mike is Federally Permitted to run trips past state waters, meaning he can run 3/4 and Full day trips up 30 miles offshore! At these depths the fish increase in both size and variety!

After you get settled in, and Captain Mike cranks up the engines, you will motor out anywhere from 10-30 miles offshore depending on the duration of your trip. IE: don't expect to run 30 miles offshore on a 6-hour trip. Once you're out there, Captain Mike will set you up for some trolling, deep-sea dropping, and fish catching! For these trips, you can expect to hook into the likes of Wahoo, King Mackerel, Snapper, Sharks, Jack Crevalle, Mahi Mahi, Bonita, Amberjack, Cobia, and Sailfish just to name a few, and there are plenty more species the Gulf can offer up! Captain Mike is even known to hook into a Tuna every once in a while trolling at these depths, but they are never a target for his trips.

While onboard, you are welcome to get as involved as you would like with your adventure as well, whether you'd rather lounge until the reel starts screaming or if you want your hand on the rod the whole time, Captain Mike can make it happen! Beyond superior service, Captain Mike also provides the best rods, reels, tackle, bait, and fishing licenses you could possibly need for a successful day out on the water. Thus, all you need to bring are your favorite lunch, snack, and drink, your sun protection, maybe a towel, and your camera! Otherwise, Captain Mike will take care of the rest to make the most of your offshore adventure!

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!

In the case of inclement weather, our guides will make the call and we'll work with you to reschedule your trip or issue a credit for the full deposit of the trip to be used on any of our trips across the country. Your safety is our top concern.

Each trip’s price is set by the guide and factors in all of their costs. A big determinant of cost is often the type of boat and associated fuel costs, but other guide costs include leases, marina / slip fees, bait costs, and the cost to provide and maintain all of the gear you’ll need on your trip.
