trip description for Freeport Fowl Hunts in Freeport

Head on down to Freeport Texas and experience a fun and memorable hunting trip. 5am I'll meet you at the boat ramp and we will discuss the plan of action for that morning. You'll get to meet Remi dog and of course she is always happy to meet new folks. And then we load up and head to the blind. Most walk ins are fairly easy and not too far from shore. Expect to see plenty of teal, we will also get to shoot at gadwall and pintail most hunts. If I've been seeing quite a few geese in the area we will throw a goose spread as well to see if we can get lucky. (It does happen) Safety is first always. And then having fun is mandatory. I'll always have waters to drink and most days I have snacks and occasionally being the grill for lunch. $250 per gun up to 4 guns. Book with me and let's go give it a shot! Read More

trip description for Houston Area Thermal Hog Hunt in Sargent

On this epic nighttime hog hunt, you'll head out out after dusk to bag some feral pigs with thermal scopes. Hogs are a major problem in Texas and across the South, causing more than 50 million dollars' worth of annual agricultural damage in Texas alone! Removing hogs from the environment directly benefits the native wildlife and the local community , and is a real blast for hunters of all experience levels. This is a night hunt, so you'll get out there around 7 PM, or just after dusk, and spend around seven hours stalking the hogs. Although there are no guarantees, Colt's hog hunts are extremely successful, and you can bag 10+ hogs on a given night. Hogs are most active at night, when they prefer to feed, so this is a perfect way to max out your hunting experience. Colt provides the firearms (with suppressors) and all the ammunition is included. All you need for the hog hunt of a lifetime is proper clothing (long pants are recommended) and a good attitude! Get out there and get ready to whack some big ol' pigs. Read More

We had a GREAT time. Started on time, stayed out past end time! CPT Jeb is personable, knowledgeable, and professional. Although we didn’t limit out, CPT Jeb kept the hooks baited and wet giving us the best opportunity at fighting the big bull reds!

We had an amazing time. Rodney and Ethan were not only very helpful and professional, they were friendly and made the trip enjoyable. When the fish we were catching were too small to keep Rodney took us to another spot where we caught larger fish and 3 sharks! I cannot wait to come back. Maybe this will be a yearly trip for us from now on. Great Captain and First Mate.

Tanesha M. with Rodney C. of Freeport, Texas

  • ★★★★★
The guide was not inviting. He never introduced himself and had no concern for our well being. We had two guests who were sea sick and he never showed any concern. While he did finally agree to bring them back to shore, his lack of respect for us as customers and human beings was not professional.

Dustin P. with Rodney H. of Freeport, Texas

Captain Reyes did an outstanding job. My son and I had planned to meet him in Matagorda and fish East Matagorda Bay. A few days before the trip, he texted suggesting that we meet him in Palacios and fish West Matagorda Bay because he’d had several days of good catches there. We agreed and had a great day on the water. We caught our limit of speckled trout and had a good haul of black drum. He was very attentive and hardworking. I highly recommend him.
