About Your Trip

The inshore flats in Southeast Louisiana are some of the best fishing grounds in the world. Join Captain Gavin and explore this marshy maze all day, searching for Black Drum, Redfish, Flounder, and Spotted Seatrout in hidden holes. These fish are exceptionally tasty and can be caught by anglers of all experience levels. Since Captain Gavin’s 32’ Aluma Marine can fit up to 10 guests, this trip is the perfect opportunity to gather with family and friends for a day on the water! If you choose, Captain Gavin is happy to clean and cook your catch for you, at an additional fee of $30 per person.

The spacious deck aboard the vessel allows many lines to be cast at once, so fish can pile up in the icebox. There is also a large cabin with air conditioning whenever you want to take a break and cool down. The Louisiana heat is no joke!

To avoid the heat you should bring plenty of water as well as appropriate clothing and sun protection. You also might want some snacks so you don’t get hungry during the full day on the water. Captain Gavin will provide everything else you need including rods, reels, light tackle, and bait. He is an experienced guide who will take you to the right fishing holes, meaning this could be the trip of a lifetime!

Each trip’s price is set by the guide and factors in all of their costs. Once you book the trip, we will connect you directly with the guide to go over any additional details. In the meantime, our team is always available to answer your questions via email, text, chat, or call!
